Job Description:

Pay: Starting at $20.00

Join our dynamic team as a construction/PV Solar Installer, where your skills will shine in the fast-growing energy solutions by installing photovoltaic (PV) solar systems on commercial properties.

What you’ll do:

  • Install and maintain PV solar systems, ensuring compliance with the National Electrical Code (NEC) and safety standards.
  • Utilize hand tools, and equipment such as forklifts and skid steers for efficient installation processes.
  • Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure timely project completion while maintaining quality standards.
  • Conduct solar racking and module installations and perform tasks as needed during the installation process.
  • Participate in site assessments to evaluate conditions and prepare for installations.
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment by adhering to all safety protocols.
  • Requires traveling during the workweek. Up to 5 hours away and up to 5 days away. Per diem included. We aim to rotate job locations weekly between travel/local job sites.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in construction or electrical work.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in construction.
  • Proficiency in using hand tools, power tools, and operating forklifts safely on job sites.
  • Previous experience in roofing or related fields is a plus.

Position: Journeyman Electrician

Pay: $35.89 – $43.22 per hours

Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and experience Journeryman/Journeywoman Electrician to join our team. The ideal candidate will posess a strong background in both industrial, commercial, and residential electrical work, demonstrating proficiency with various electrical systems and tools. This role requires the ability to read blueprints and schematics, as well as a solid understanding of the National Electrical Code (NEC). The Journeyman/Journeywoman Electrician will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems in compliance with safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • This job will require the flexibility to work out of town, up to 5 hours away from Marquette and up to 5 business days at a time. A company vehicle is provided.
  • Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in accordance with NEC standards.
  • Troubleshoot electrical issues using tools such as ohmmeters and power tools.
  • Conduct low voltage and hig voltage work as required.
  • Read and interpret blueprints and schematics to determine the layout of electrical systems.
  • Collaborate with other trades on construction sites to ensure timely project completion.
  • Perform renovation tasks that may include frame carpentry and maintenance person services as needed.
  • Ensure all work is performed safely and efficiently while adhering to company policies and procedures.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as an industrial, commercial, and residential electrician is preferred.
  • Must have a valid driver’s license
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems, including low voltage and high voltage applications.
  • Proficient in using hand tools, power tools, and testing equipment such as ohmmeters.
  • Ability to read blueprints, schematics, and technical documents accurately.
  • Previous construction site experience is essential; renovation experience is a plus.
  • Strong problem solving skills and attention to detail are required.
